Yes you read that correctly. You or your friend may have had the idea but never launched or never learned how to code but this week Black Twitter gained a For Us By Us Twitter like platform, called Blitter. Being that Black folks set the cool and keep social mediums, like Twitter thrive with our talent, opinions and frequent involvement, it has been long overdue for us to have our own platform.
The application was developed by Patrick Francis and launched on iTunes app store on October 6, 2017. It is described as,
a social network built on love, passion, and empathy. Blitter does not condone racism, sexism, harassment, bots, or hate speech whatsoever. We are 100% independent from any investors and display no ads!
Users are able to “Blitt” 120 character “Blits” and 15 second videos. Geeked about the news, enthusiastic Twitter users rushed over to download Blitter to try it out. I do not know about you guys but #TheBlackJuice surely will be “Blitting” and you should too.
