What is power exactly?

Good question. So good, in fact, that EBONY asked our Power 100 stars and they gave us their definitions (with a side of inspiration) during our cover shoot for the December/January issue.

Award-winning filmmaker Ava DuVernay; hip-hop superstar Nas; Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and producer John Legend; and Olympic gold medal winner Simone Biles join a host of other influencers and change makers from across the African-American spectrum for our annual celebration of Black excellence.
