One of the greatest trios in late-1990s rap music are coming together again. Mannie Fresh and Juvenile have confirmed that they are making a collaborative album with Lil Wayne. In a sit-down interview with AllHipHop, Mannie and Juvie talk about the public “demanding” the record, and say that the trio has already locked down a few features for the track list.

Unfortunately the project has no title, release date and most importantly no label clearances just yet. The business side of the project could prove to be an issue but what we do know is that 2/4 of the Hot Boys will be making music together again with their super producer, Mannie Fresh.

Mannie Fresh is one of the most respected producers in Hip Hop history and Juvenile was an early Cash Money Records favorite. Both Mannie and Juve, left Cash Money in the early 2000’s, leaving fans thirsty for their music. Lil’ Wayne is currently in a legal battle with Cash Money, as his long-awaited Tha Carter V is being held in limbo. His beef with Cash Money CEO, Bryan “Birdman” Williams, has been pretty ugly, though the two were recently seen together at Drake’s New Year’s Eve party.

Are you excited about a possible album from Wayne, Juvie and Mannie?
