What’s good family, your Friday’s just got even blacker! Each and every Friday, @theblack_juice on Instagram will be highlighting a black webseries that is #onthecomeUP. There is an abundance of independent black creatives putting in work all over the world and #TheJuice is here to highlight them, as a means to raise visibility of our litness.

Just like there was the first Yvette Lee Bowser (Living Single), Mara Brock Akil (Girlfriends, The Game and Being Mary Jane), Shonda Rhimes (Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal), Ryan Coogler (Creed, Fruitville Station), Steven Caple Jr. (The Land) the time is coming for it to be the first someone else.

The first webseries to kick off the weekly installment is BSU, which is a comedic series from The Peak and Issa Rae Productions. BSU explores the start of UCLA’s Black Student Union. Catch episode one on THE BLACK JUICE TV below and do not forget to SUBSCRIBE!

You can also get FRESH with the Juice by purchasing some of our Exclusive gear here.

And of course be sure to catch up on THE NITTY GRITTY SHOW for our #Importtalks series. TNGS is TheBlackJuice Production and a show highlighting a diversity of thought about pressing issues impacting our community and culture. Subscribe to the channel and watch past episodes here.
