Unless you have been living under a rock for the past week or so, your time line and Twitter feed was probably blowing up with #Pepsiad criticism. In case you missed it, I’ve included the Kendall Jenner Pepsi ad below. The advertising was horrible and was heavily criticized in the court of public opinion. It likely encouraged no one to go and purchase a Pepsi but it made everyone talk about the brand, which I am sure was a goal.

Critics of the ad claim that the beverage company makes light of very sensitive topics, such as #blacklivesmatter and police brutality. As what looks to be an #attractivelivesmatter parade taking place, Kendall Jenner is motivated to join the rally/protest/parade and save the day by offering a Pepsi drink to an officer.

In the video below performed by a few Howard University School of Law students, the internet’s wifi is not working (normal occurrence) and students are fed up, but their connections are suddenly restored once the IT man is handed a refreshing Pepsi.

Hey, folks maybe Pepsi is the solution to #blacklivesmatter #attractivelivesmatter and #wifimatters who knows? The video was pretty funny though. Shout out to #HUSL c/o 2017. Check it out and as always, be sure to SHARE!

  1. Good try. The main actress was attractive. Please focus on school. Comedy is not your thing. Great try. But please study harder to work on the real issues. And maybe run for office… no more “funnies” though.
